We create a happier space for seniors
Accessibility
Aberdeen Villa is close to services and places that residents need and want.
Entertainment
Games night, anyone?
We got puzzles, chess, and for those who dare…Monopoly! Aside from board games, our team plans special nights for other games such as bingo and Price is Right.
Play a tune
For anyone who’s musically inclined, we have a standup piano to practice those tunes. There are some musical sheets of Mozart’s and Bach’s work available for residents to read and play from.
Grow with books
A library is available on-site with both fiction and non-fiction books.
There is also an option to have books picked-up from the Saskatoon Public Library provided that the resident has a library account.
Health and wellness
Activities and programs
Residents can participate in the weekly schedule of activities that includes
Fitness Hour (M, W, F, Sun)
Movie Night (T, Fri)
Yoga (T, Th, Sat)
Residents can watch out for these other planned activities on the monthly activity calendar.
Video games for health
There is a Nintendo Wii available for residents to use, with games ranging from tennis to golf. There are also options for two-player games to encourage socializing.
Residents can also use the driving wheel accessory to help keep their cognitive skills sharp. Available games include Grand Theft Auto, and other racing games.

Getting outdoors
Aberdeen Villa is also walking distance away from parks and shopping areas, making it ideal for afternoon walks. Among the parks nearby are James Anderson Park, Harold Tatler Park, and AS Wright Park.
It is also very close to bus stops and the bus terminal, making it easy to do errands.
Hearty meals and nutritious snacks
Menu
Our team prepares meals for our residents on a daily basis using fresh ingredients. Residents get three hearty meals a day with available nutritious snacks all throughout the day. We have our food safety certification ensuring that meals are prepared in the safest way possible in a clean environment.
Sourcing ingredients
Groceries are done on a regular schedule, ensuring that ingredients and produce used for meals are fresh. On summers, residents can enjoy fresh produce from the garden. Cabbage, beets, carrots, and tomatoes are just some of the vegetables planted there on the summer season.
Celebrate birthdays
Birthdays are made special with a cake and a surprise menu inspired by the birthday celebrant’s favourite dishes and desserts.
